In response to the Pahalgam attack, India launched Operation Sindhoor, targeting terrorist hideouts and sending a strong message to Pakistan. This operation caused significant panic among terror outfits, showcasing India’s commitment to security. Following these actions, a brief lull emerged between India and Pakistan, with even a short pause to Operation Sindhoor.

Preparations were underway for a mock drill in the border states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Jammu & Kashmir, all of which share a border with Pakistan. The objective of the drill was to train civilians on how to respond to terrorist threats, including rules and techniques to follow during such attacks. These drills aimed to reinforce the message that Operation Sindhoor is still ongoing and that India remains vigilant.

Despite numerous warnings and opportunities given to Pakistan to cease its hostile activities, it has repeatedly shown its unwillingness to change. Through Operation Sindoor, India has demonstrated precision in targeting terrorist hideouts and infrastructure, without causing harm to innocent civilians. However, Pakistan has continued targeting innocent Indian citizens, making such mock drills essential for border states to prepare for any threats.
