India won its second medal in the 2024 Olympics being held in Paris as Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh finished third and secured the Bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. India prevailed over South Korea in the battle for the bronze medal with a scoreline of 16-10. Manu Bhaker now holds the unique record of being the first sportsperson in independent India to have secured 2 olympic medals in the same Olympics tournament. Manu would also be participating in the 25 metre air rifle event and hence stands a practical chance of improving her record.
