Mohanlal praises Kannada movie, Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare

Mohanlal was in Mysuru very recently. The shoot for his film Vrushabha was ongoing. Vrushabha is being directed by Nanda Kishore who had also directed Pogaru starring Dhruva Sarja which was a profitable venture in Kannada. Vrushabha also stars Ragini Dwivedi who has featured in films like Kempe Gowda. The film will explore the concept of rebirth, revenge and love.The film’s plot will have 2 sworn enemies who are reborn as father and son face off again. 

During the shoot he also happened to meet with the team behind Hostel Hudgaru Bekkagidare.

He also watched a clip of the film and was impressed by the craft on display in the clip. He also posed for a photograph with the team behind Hostel Hudgaru Bekkagidare. 

Meanwhile Hostel Hudagru Bekkagidare received a great response from the audience as well. It has crossed well over 5 crore within 1 week’s time. Debutant director, Nithin Krishnamurthy says he’s shocked by the film’s unprecedented success. 

Rakshit Shetty’s Paramvah Studios and Zee Studios were confident about the film’s potential, resulting in a good number of theaters. The film has even added an extra 60 shows from this week and is now releasing in parts of Hyderabad and Chennai. Despite competition from Hollywood films like Oppenheimer and Barbie, Hostel Hudugaru...has managed to perform well and will continue to do so, “ He said as quoted by Cinema Express.
