In relation to the assault and murder of Renukaswamy, more numbing details are emerging. As per the latest information, Karthik, an accused informed A2 Darshan that he would dispose of the body in a gutter only if he paid Rs 30 lakh. Darshan okayed the deal and paid Rs 30 lakh to a person named Pradosh.

Later, the gang headed by Karthik agreed to surrender before the police. In furtherance to the deal, Darshan had agreed to bail them out. But, Pradosh had not handed over the amount to Karthik and his team. After this detail was revealed to the police during the investigation, the police have identified the place in which the humongous amount was stashed. They will now recover the money. This piece of evidence will implicate Darshan in the entire episode.

When these accused were interrogated, they reportedly tried to mislead the police, not realizing that the officers were too skilled for their tactics. Eventually, they confessed to Darshan’s involvement in the entire episode. The police corroborated their statements with call records from their phones.

Currently, all the accused, including Pavitra Gowda and Darshan, have been remanded to police custody for six days. The police have begun recreating the scene.

On Tuesday, as the police presented the accused before a local court, Darshan and Pavitra wept inconsolably.
