The metro was scheduled to begin normal service at 5 AM, but services between Kadugodi and Challaghatta were temporarily suspended. Due to the technical issue, metro trains could only run between Kadugodi and Challaghatta after a delay.

Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) officials confirmed that the technical fault was identified and swiftly addressed by the maintenance team. Normal operations resumed at 9:55 AM, when trains began running again from Kadugodi to Challaghatta.

Passengers expressed frustration over the disruption during peak morning hours, but BMRCL assured commuters that such incidents are rare and every effort is made to restore services promptly.

Authorities requested commuters to check real-time updates through official channels to plan their journeys better during unforeseen delays.
