Megastar K Chiranjeevi was honoured by Guinness World Records on Sunday as the most prolific star in the Indian film industry in the actor/dancer category. The recognition was presented to him at an event, marking his impressive career achievements.

Chiranjeevi expressed his gratitude, stating, “This moment is unforgettable. I never sought recognition from Guinness World Records, but being honoured for my dancing is incredible. Dance made me a star.” He recalled his early experiences dancing alongside legends and thanked the directors, producers, and choreographers who helped showcase his performances.
In a remarkable 45-year career, Chiranjeevi has performed over 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs across 156 films. Notably, September 22 also marks his film debut in 1978.
Guinness World Records adjudicator Richard Stenning praised Chiranjeevi’s contributions, while fellow superstar Aamir Khan expressed admiration, calling him an elder brother and noting the passion he brings to his performances.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Andhra Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, among other dignitaries, congratulated him, emphasizing the pride this achievement brings to Telugu people.
