Mumbai has become the epicenter of a significant global initiative as the World Hindu Economic Forum (WHEF) convenes a three-day conference to unite Hindu entrepreneurs worldwide. Inaugurated today at the Jio World Convention Center by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the event is set to explore opportunities to strengthen the role of Hindu entrepreneurs in the global economy.

Highlighting the importance of the forum, Chief Minister Fadnavis stated that Hindu entrepreneurs are poised to serve as a guiding force in achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a "Developed India 2047." The forum aligns with this ambitious goal, aiming to amplify the contributions of Hindu entrepreneurs in sectors ranging from start-ups to small-scale industries.
Swami Vigyanananda Ji, Founder and Global Chairman of the WHEF, emphasized the necessity of collective action to realize India's developmental aspirations. Speaking at the inaugural session, he called for a united front to ensure the growth and global recognition of Hindu entrepreneurship.
Among the notable attendees, Padma Shri awardee T.V. Mohandas Pai shed light on the program's potential to foster innovation and collaboration among businesses. Over 1,000 participants, including entrepreneurs from India and abroad, are attending the forum, with Karnataka alone contributing more than 60 delegates.
The conference will feature 24 sessions focusing on a variety of sectors with opportunities for start-ups, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and small-scale industries. The agenda emphasizes mutual assistance among Hindu entrepreneurs and the exploration of avenues for business growth and global market integration.
Running until December 15, the WHEF underscores India’s enduring legacy as a major contributor to global trade and aims to ensure that Hindu entrepreneurs lead this charge in the coming decades.
