Chief Minister Siddaramaiah unveiled 21 new products from the state-owned Karnataka Soap and Detergents Limited (KSDL). The "Mysore Sandal Wave" range introduces a diverse selection, including 10 premium Mysore Sandal soaps, 3 types of shower gel, 6 innovative soap kits, hand wash, and drinking water.

Addressing the gathering at Vidhana Soudha, the Chief Minister highlighted that this marks the first occasion in the 107-year history of KSDL where the company has introduced 21 products, aligning with the current trends of the present generation. Commending the company's competitive spirit in producing innovative items like shower gels, he emphasized the importance of maintaining high quality.

MB Patil, the Chairman of KSDL and Industries Minister, outlined initiatives aimed at doubling the enterprise's turnover to Rs 3,000 crore within two years, up from the current Rs 1,400 crore. He noted a significant 25% increase in production volume over the last eight months, attributing it to extensive research that facilitated the rapid development of the new products.

Patil also revealed plans for the upcoming launch of transparent soaps and perfumed products, demonstrating KSDL's commitment to continuous innovation and expansion.
