Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita Dhulipala to marry in December, wedding invite goes viral

Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to tie the knot this December, with their wedding invitation now going viral on social media. The invite, steeped in traditional Telugu culture, includes the names of both families and the wedding date, December 4. In a thoughtful gesture, the couple also distributed a goodies basket along with the invite, containing items such as a piece of cloth (saree or dupatta), food packets, and sweets. The design of the invitation features iconic symbols, including temples, bells, banana trees, and a cow, adding to its cultural significance.

Chaitanya and Sobhita will marry at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a venue of emotional importance to Chaitanya. The studio was founded by his late grandfather, legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and the couple chose it to honor his legacy and seek blessings from their ancestors.

While the wedding will be a private, traditional ceremony, Sobhita has opted for simplicity, choosing a locally sourced outfit instead of hiring a stylist. The pre-wedding festivities began in October, with Sobhita sharing glimpses of a traditional ceremony at her home with family.

The couple got engaged in August this year. Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha, with whom he announced his separation in October 2021.
