TRSL plans to deliver the second train by late January or early February, with a third expected in April. Following that, one train per month will be supplied, with production ramping up to two trains monthly by September.
The Yellow Line will feature 18 stations, including RV Road, Jayadeva Hospital, Central Silk Board, Bommanahalli, Hosa Road, Electronic City, and Hebbagodi. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) will announce the line’s opening once all tests and commercial service preparations are complete.
This line is particularly significant as it connects Electronics City, a hub for over 200 IT/ITES firms such as Infosys, Wipro, and Biocon. The Yellow Line promises to streamline commutes for thousands of professionals, solidifying Bengaluru's position as a tech powerhouse.
