According to a dashcam recording, the KSRTC bus driver attempted to speed past the signal before it turned red. At the same moment, a biker from the opposite direction started crossing the junction, having received a green signal. Within seconds, both vehicles came dangerously close to a collision.

The biker was almost trapped under the bus, but thanks to the driver’s last-minute application of the brakes, a major tragedy was averted. The close call left the biker in shock and the bystanders gasping. The front wheel of the bike was barely a few inches away from going under the heavy vehicle.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The incident has once again highlighted the risks of reckless driving and the critical importance of obeying traffic rules, especially at busy city intersections.
