The student was selected to sit in the hot seat, designed to give young participants a chance to showcase their knowledge. However, instead of showing courtesy, Ishita repeatedly challenged the host, stating, “Don’t tell me the rules, I know everything,” and demanding control over the game format. He even interrupted the question on chess kings by asking if it was a valid question and gave incorrect answers on the Valmiki Ramayana, misidentifying the first Kand as Ayodhya Kand instead of Bala Kand.

And no, not blaming the kid—blame the parents. Raise a child without humility, patience, or manners, and you get a tiny dictator in the making. Losing even a single rupee? Bet it stings more than a reality check ever could. 😏#KBCpic.twitter.com/Uf8XitnJri
Social media erupted with criticism, highlighting that confidence must be balanced with respect, especially for elders. Netizens argue that parents failed to instill discipline, manners, and humility, which are crucial when interacting with seniors. Many stressed that knowing facts is different from displaying courteous behavior.
While Ishita managed the first three questions, overconfidence ultimately led to his early exit from the show, reinforcing the lesson that knowledge must be paired with humility.
