Gold touches ₹1.57 lakh, silver crosses ₹3.6 lakh: Record price surge across Indian cities

In Chennai, 10 grams of 24-carat gold is priced at ₹1,58,740, while 22-carat gold costs ₹1,45,510. Silver in the city is selling at ₹3,45,100 per kilogram. Mumbai has reported 24-carat gold at ₹1,57,160 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,44,060, with silver priced at ₹3,40,100 per kilogram.

Delhi recorded slightly higher gold rates, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,57,310 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,44,210. Silver in the national capital is priced at ₹3,40,100 per kilogram. In Kolkata, gold prices are similar to Mumbai at ₹1,57,160 for 24-carat and ₹1,44,060 for 22-carat gold, while silver remains at ₹3,40,100 per kilogram.

Bengaluru also reported 24-carat gold at ₹1,57,160 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,44,060. Silver prices in the city stand at ₹3,40,100 per kilogram. In Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam, gold rates remain the same as Bengaluru, but silver prices are higher at ₹3,60,100 per kilogram.
