Badminton ace Jwala Gutta has once again shown that her greatness extends beyond the sports arena. The former doubles star, who welcomed a baby in April this year with husband and actor Vishnu Vishal, has been quietly donating her breast milk to hospitals for the past four months.

In a remarkable humanitarian effort, Jwala has so far contributed 30 liters of breast milk, which has reached critically ill and premature babies in government hospitals, as well as motherless orphans. Her initiative has been hailed as life-saving, since breast milk contains DHA—an essential nutrient absent in powdered or dairy milk—crucial for physical growth and neurological development in infants.
Importance of breast milk donations
Sharing her journey on social media, Jwala emphasized the importance of breast milk donations, writing that anyone who donates becomes a hero for babies in need. Her message struck a chord, with netizens lauding her as “an athlete with a golden heart” and “a mother to many children.”
The gesture has drawn widespread admiration. “This is a priceless gift. Not everyone gets a chance to do such good work,” one comment read, while another called her act “truly inspirational.”
Jwala Gutta, who brought glory to India on the badminton court, is now being celebrated for bringing hope to newborns fighting for survival. Her contribution, both as an athlete and now as a compassionate donor, has earned her immense respect and love.
Warm Greetings To All !
