The first day of November brings relief for hotels and restaurants as commercial LPG cylinder prices drop by ₹5, while domestic cylinder prices remain unchanged across India.
As part of the regular monthly revision, the LPG cylinder prices across India were updated on November 1. The latest change brings some relief to commercial users, particularly in the hotel, restaurant, and catering sectors.
The price of the 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by ₹5 per cylinder, marking a small but welcome decline in costs for businesses that rely heavily on LPG for daily operations.

In Delhi, the new rate for the 19-kg commercial cylinder now stands at ₹1,590, compared to ₹1,595 earlier. In Kolkata, the rate has dropped even further, by ₹6.5, easing operational expenses for local food and hospitality businesses.
Just two months ago, in September, the same 19-kg cylinder saw a price hike of ₹15, making this revision a partial rollback of earlier increases.
Officials noted that this downward adjustment would benefit restaurants, hotels, and catering services, which use commercial LPG extensively for cooking and food preparation.
However, there is no change in the domestic LPG cylinder prices this month. The 14.2-kg household cylinder, used by millions of homes across India, continues at the same rate as October, offering stability for domestic consumers.
