Photos released: Suspected attacker and Hyundai i20 from Red Fort blast

A photo of a suspected individual linked to yesterday’s destructive incident in Delhi has been released. The suspect is believed to be a suicide bomber involved in the attack.

The suspect in the Delhi blast has been identified as Dr. Umar Mohammad. According to preliminary information, he is believed to be the owner of the exploded car. Investigators suspect that Umar Mohammad may have acted as a suicide bomber and carried out the attack himself.

Investigating officers have now released the photo of the suspect. CCTV footage showing him inside the Hyundai i20 car shortly before the explosion has also been obtained.

A total of nine people lost their lives in yesterday’s incident. Around 20 others were injured and are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. An investigation into the case has been initiated.

Police have already traced details of the car involved in the explosion, confirming it to be a Hyundai i20 with a Haryana registration number plate. The vehicle bore the number HR 26 CE 7674. Authorities have arrested the car’s original owner, identified as Mohammad Salman, who is currently in custody for questioning.
