The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on March 6, 2026, released the final results for the prestigious 2025 Civil Services Examination (CSE), one of India’s toughest competitive exams. This year, Anuj Agnihotri created history by securing the All India Rank 1 (AIR 1), becoming the country’s top performer.

•    Preliminary Examination (Prelims): Conducted on May 25, 2025
•    Main Examination (Mains): Held from August 22 to August 31, 2025
•    Personality Test (Interview): Began in January 2026 at UPSC headquarters, New Delhi, and concluded on February 27, 2026
