National Education Policy: BJP’s Ashwathnarayan lambasts Karnataka government

As Karnataka scraps National Education Policy (NEP), the war of words has only intensified. Speaking exclusively to News First, BJP MLA Dr CN Ashwathnarayan has condemned the move. 

He added that NEP strengthens the students by helping build their personality and competing on an international level. 

Ruing the scrapping, he added that the state government was hellbent on scuttling the lives of students. Noting that the children and grandchildren of Mallikarjun Kharge, Siddaramaiah among others study in international schools, he said such schools too follow central syllabus. 

He stressed that such politicians who are at the helm of affairs in the state is nothing short of a misfortune.
