Attendees can explore over 250 horticultural crop varieties developed by ICAR-IIHR, covering innovations in crop protection, value addition, and post-harvest management. Urban farming will also take center stage with exhibits on vertical and terrace gardening, offering sustainable food-growing solutions for city dwellers.
Live demonstrations will provide hands-on insights into cutting-edge horticultural technologies. A Centre of Excellence will showcase protected cultivation techniques to ensure stable crop yields amid changing environmental conditions. Skill-building workshops will focus on mushroom production, pest control, vertical farming, and urban gardening.
NHF 2025 is jointly organised by ICAR-IIHR, the Society for Promotion of Horticulture, BESST-HORT, ICAR-ATARI Bengaluru, and other key institutions.
