After a five-year hiatus, Navjot Singh Sidhu is set to make a memorable return to The Kapil Sharma Show on November 16. The former cricketer and politician, who once served as a staple on the show before being replaced by Archana Puran Singh, will be seen back in his iconic chair. Sidhu shared a sneak peek of his return on Instagram, showing himself in his old seat and instantly stirring excitement and speculation among fans.

In the video, Kapil, surprised to see Sidhu, initially mistakes him for comedian Sunil Grover, who often parodies Sidhu on the show. Kapil quips, “Sunil paaji, you show up as Sidhu paaji every other day,” to which Sidhu fires back, “Hey! Look closely. Sikh Sidhu is here!”

Archana Puran Singh, looking slightly uneasy, nudges Kapil and jokes, “Kapil, tell sardar sahab to get up from my chair. He’s taken over my seat!”

Contrary to appearances, Sidhu isn’t returning to reclaim his spot but rather as a guest alongside his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu. The couple is joined by cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his wife, actress Geeta Basra, who also add to the comedic banter. Harbhajan jokes, “Anyone can sit on that chair, but no one can replace Sidhu.”

The much-anticipated episode, promising laughter and nostalgia, will premiere on Netflix on Saturday, November 16.
