In a recent candid interview with Filmfare, acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared insights into his longstanding association with the legendary Kamal Haasan, highlighting his deep respect and admiration for the veteran actor. Siddiqui, who once worked as a dialogue coach for Haasan's 2001 film "Abhay" (Aalavandhan), reminisced about the enriching experiences and the challenges he faced under Haasan's mentorship.

Reflecting on his journey, Siddiqui revealed how a senior from the National School of Drama (NSD) facilitated his entry into the southern film industry, allowing him to work on Hindi dialogues for "Abhay". He expressed his gratitude for these opportunities, which enabled him to interact closely with Haasan.

Siddiqui recounted a particularly memorable incident where he was asked to perform a speech from the play "Tughlaq" in ten different ways. "I could manage only 3-4 variations at most," he admitted, acknowledging Haasan's exceptional talent and control over his craft. "Kamal sir is a dancer and a phenomenal actor with complete control over his body," he added, emphasizing Haasan's versatility.

Looking ahead, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set to grace the silver screen in several upcoming films, including "Oil Kumar", "Adbhut", "Noorani Chehra", and "Sangeen".
