A series of terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir within a span of a few days had filled the nation with a sense of grief. 9 people were killed when a bus was attacked in the Reasi district on June 9th. Another attack on security personnels was reported on June 11th from Doda. A report of a civilian being injured has also surfaced from Kathua.

In light of these incidents, the leaders of the Indian National Congress (INC) have made sharp attacks on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. “A spate of terror attacks has gripped Jammu and Kashmir in the past three days, whilst PM Modi is busy posting responses to congratulatory tweets by Pakistani leaders - Nawaz Sharif and Pak PM PM Shahbaz Sharif. Why has he not spoken a single word on the dastardly terror attacks? Why has he maintained a stoic silence? BJP's loudmouth chest-thumping and hollow claims of return of peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir have been thoroughly exposed. The fact that BJP did not even bother to fight elections in Kashmir valley is a testament to the fact that their "Naya Kashmir" policy is an abject failure,” Chairman of the Media and Publicity Department of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Pawan Khera remarked on X.
