In a statement shared on Instagram, Nayanthara thanked the producers who provided No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for using footage from films they had produced, highlighting their cooperation and generosity. "When I approached these producers for NOCs, they granted them without hesitation or delay. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of them," she wrote.
The documentary, now streaming on Netflix, chronicles the actor’s rise to stardom, her personal journey, and her relationship with husband Vignesh Shivan.
Among those acknowledged were Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan of Red Chillies Entertainment, who backed the 2023 blockbuster Jawan, in which Nayanthara played the lead. She also thanked Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin (Red Giant Movies), Subaskaran Allirajah (Lyca Productions), Studio Green's K.E. Gnanavel Raja, and filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss, among others.
The actor’s gratitude comes in the wake of her public criticism of actor-producer Dhanush for refusing NOCs and demanding ₹10 crore in damages over a three-second clip from their 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.
Nayanthara praised the collaborative spirit of her supporters, celebrating their contribution to her documentary, which she describes as a heartfelt ode to her journey in cinema.
