The controversy erupted following the release of the English trailer, which left fans questioning the availability of a Telugu version. Netflix eventually released a Telugu trailer, but fans were appalled to find it featured subpar dubbing instead of the original voices of the Telugu-speaking celebrities. Except for James Cameron, all key personalities in the film – including SS Rajamouli, Prabhas, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Rama Rajamouli, and MM Keeravaani – are native Telugu speakers. The poor quality of the dubbing has left fans outraged, with many expressing their disgust at hearing their favorite stars’ voices replaced by inferior dubs.
