In a significant development, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has added Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, to its most-wanted list, with a reward of ₹10 lakh announced for his arrest. Anmol is being sought in connection with a shooting incident that took place earlier this year outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai.

The April incident involved gunfire near Khan’s Bandra home, and Anmol was listed as one of the main suspects, along with his incarcerated brother Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently lodged in Ahmedabad's Sabarmati Central Prison, and Canada-based gangster Goldie Brar. The investigation into the shooting led to the arrest of five alleged members of the Bishnoi gang by the Navi Mumbai Police, who were reportedly involved in the planning of the attack.
During follow-up investigations in June, police claimed to have uncovered an additional plot to target Khan while he traveled to his Panvel farmhouse. Anmol Bishnoi’s name has also surfaced in the recent murder case of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who was shot dead on October 12 outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai.
The NIA continues to intensify its hunt for Anmol as part of a broader crackdown on gang-related violence and crime syndicates.
