In a dazzling finale held in Mumbai, Nikita Porwal from Madhya Pradesh was crowned Femina Miss India 2024. The 24-year-old actress, who began her career as a TV anchor at just 18, was awarded the prestigious title by last year's winner, Nandini Gupta, while Bollywood star Neha Dhupia adorned her with the Miss India sash.
The first runner-up was Rekha Pandayy, representing the Union Territories, followed by Ayushi Dholakia of Gujarat as the second runner-up. The event, a grand celebration of beauty, talent, and empowerment, was marked by a spectacular performance by former Miss India and actress Sangeeta Bijlani, who also graced the runway. Several other notable personalities, including Raghav Juyal and Neha Dhupia, were seen walking the red carpet.

This year’s pageant began with a nationwide talent hunt, where 30 finalists were shortlisted through extensive auditions and grooming sessions. These contestants, representing various states, went through rigorous training and participated in the grand finale.
Porwal will now represent India at the Miss World 2024 pageant, continuing the legacy of former Miss World winners like Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra. This year’s edition also marked the 60th anniversary of the iconic beauty pageant, celebrated with the release of the anthem "Rise of Queen," paying tribute to Miss India's rich legacy.
