A harrowing experience aboard Air India flight IX196 from Dubai to Jaipur has sparked outrage after passengers were left stranded inside the aircraft for over five hours without air conditioning, communication, or support from the flight crew.

A viral video posted by a passenger and content creator, @dietnaree, documented the distressing scene, showing visibly uncomfortable co-passengers, including children and the elderly, sweating in the cabin’s oppressive heat. The clip has triggered widespread concern and criticism toward Air India’s handling of the situation.

According to her account, there was no announcement or information about the delay, and no action from the airline staff to assist or comfort the travelers. The incident has become especially alarming in light of the recent Ahmedabad flight tragedy, with many questioning how such safety lapses continue to recur without accountability.
Calling it a “serious safety lapse,” she urged @airindia to take immediate responsibility and ensure passenger well-being is prioritized.
