The much-anticipated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) victory parade will not take place in the city, according to an official announcement from the Bengaluru City Police.
Instead, the RCB team will be felicitated at a special event to be held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium from 5 PM to 6 PM. Entry to the event is strictly restricted to those possessing valid tickets or passes.

Police have urged the public to avoid expecting a parade and instead focus on the official function. To manage the large turnout and prevent traffic chaos, authorities strongly recommend using the Namma Metro and other public transport, citing limited parking facilities around the stadium.
Commuters are also advised to avoid the Central Business District (CBD), particularly the areas surrounding Cubbon Park and Vidhana Soudha, between 3 PM and 8 PM, due to the likelihood of traffic congestion.
The police have made it clear that no celebrations or events will take place on the city roads and any gathering outside the designated venue could lead to crowding and inconvenience.
Citizens are urged to cooperate with authorities and plan their travel accordingly, as large crowds are expected near the stadium despite the absence of a parade.
