NWKRTC unveils a special tour covering Dandeli and Gokak falls from Dharwad

The North Western Karnataka Railway Transport Corporation has operationalised plans to allocate buses to reach the tourist spots of Dandeli and Gokak falls from Dharwad. The route from Dharwad to Dandeli would also cover important tourist destinations of  Dandeli Crocodile Park, Moulangi Falls, Kulgi Nature Park and Ulavi Channabasaveshwara temple along its way. The path from Dharwad to Gokak falls would cover prime locations such as  Naviluteertha Dam, Sogala Kshetra, Gokak Waterfalls, Hidkal Dam on the way. These buses would also return back to Dharwad after the tour. 

The tour has been arranged at a reasonable rate of Rs 340 that encompasses the entire journey. Both the buses are scheduled to begin the journey at 7:30 AM. The bus enroute Dandeli is scheduled to arrive at the Ulavi temple at 2 PM. The bus enroute Gokak falls is scheduled to arrive at Gokak falls at 1 PM and proceed towards the Hidkal dam at 3:30 PM. Both the buses are scheduled to reach back to Dharwad at 7 PM. 

These buses would be operational on the 2nd and 4th saturday of every month and also on public holidays. Tickets for the tour could be obtained on the online KSRTC bus portal. This would provide a much needed boost for tourism in these locations.
