In a unique moment during an election campaign rally in Detroit, former US President Barack Obama showcased his rap skills by quoting Eminem’s famous line, "I'm nervous, but on the surface, I look calm and ready to drop bombs..." from the rapper's hit song "Lose Yourself." The crowd erupted as Obama took the stage after being introduced by Eminem himself, who had come out in support of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

The rally, held in Michigan—a key battleground state for the upcoming election—was aimed at boosting support for Harris. Eminem, a Detroit native, took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of voting and free speech. Wearing a Detroit Tigers cap, the rapper told the crowd, "The spotlight is on us more than ever, and I think it’s important to use your voice."

Eminem, known for his outspoken persona and alter ego Slim Shady, further highlighted the importance of freedom of expression. “I don't think anyone wants an America where people are worried about retribution for expressing their opinions,” he said, adding that he believed Kamala Harris would uphold those freedoms.

Following his speech, Eminem introduced Obama, whose energetic delivery of the rap line added excitement to the rally, helping to galvanize Democratic supporters in a critical state ahead of the election.
