Odisha rapper dies by suicide in Bengaluru, family alleges harassment

In a tragic incident, an Odisha-based rapper and engineer, Abhinav Singh, allegedly died by suicide in Bengaluru after consuming poison. The incident occurred on Monday morning, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

Abhinav, a resident of Kaligali, Cuttack, was working in Bengaluru when the incident took place. While the exact cause of his death is yet to be established, family members claim that he was under severe mental distress due to alleged harassment by his wife. They believe this distress may have led him to take the extreme step.

According to family sources, Singh maintained regular contact with them, making his sudden death even more shocking. On the morning of his death, he had reportedly asked to be woken up later than usual, raising concerns when he failed to respond to repeated calls. His friends later discovered him in an unresponsive state inside his residence.

Relatives have alleged that marital disputes and emotional turmoil may have contributed to his decision. They claim that frequent disagreements with his wife, differences in lifestyle preferences, and limited family interaction had taken a toll on him over time.

Authorities have launched an investigation to verify the claims and determine any external factors involved in Singh’s tragic death.
