Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has appealed to chief ministers of other Indian states to ensure the safety and well-being of Kashmiri students. His appeal came in response to a post on X, which claimed that many Kashmiri students across the country are feeling frightened and unsafe due to the current tense atmosphere.

By publicly addressing the issue, Abdullah aims to calm the fears of students and their families back in Jammu and Kashmir, while also calling on other states to act responsibly and prevent any kind of discrimination or harm.
