The Indian Army has finalized the blueprint for Operation Aakraman, a high-level counterterrorism offensive targeting terrorist hideouts in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). Military sources reportedly confirm that the operation’s first objective is to neutralize 46 identified terror bases operating in the region.
According to officials, the Indian Army and Air Force are reportedly jointly preparing for a potential infiltration and targeted strikes in POK. The armed forces are reportedly ready to launch precision attacks, with action expected within the next 24 to 36 hours. Intelligence inputs indicate that Pakistan has already relocated several terror operatives after learning about India's surveillance and intent, but officials stress that efforts are underway to track and target the new hideouts.
This strategic move follows heightened concerns over cross-border terrorism and increased infiltration attempts. Operation Aakraman marks a significant escalation in India’s counterterrorism strategy, with military planners aiming to dismantle terror infrastructure and prevent future threats from across the Line of Control.
A high-level security review meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is scheduled for today. Top military and intelligence officials will present the operational status and seek final political clearance before execution.
Sources indicate that the Indian government is resolute in its approach, signaling a decisive response to cross-border threats and the protection of national security interests.
