Operation Sindhoor, India’s military retaliation against Pakistani terrorist bases following the Pahalgam attack, is still ongoing, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh told an all-party meeting on Wednesday.
In a significant briefing to opposition leaders, Singh clarified that the operation, which included a swift 25-minute airstrike, has already inflicted heavy damage, with at least 100 terrorists reportedly killed. However, he emphasized that the mission has not yet concluded. "More action is expected," Singh hinted, urging leaders not to fall for Pakistani propaganda.

The high-level meeting was attended by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and J.P. Nadda, among others. All parties present expressed unified support for the government’s stand on national security.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju reiterated that while full details of Operation Sindhoor cannot be disclosed for strategic reasons, the toll on terrorist networks may rise further — subtly confirming that Indian military operations are still active.
Congress President Kharge voiced solidarity, affirming that the fight against terrorism transcends political lines. “India stands united,” he declared, echoing the sentiment shared across party representatives.
Operation Sindhoor is being hailed as a decisive move against cross-border terrorism, signaling India’s uncompromising stance on national security and its readiness to respond firmly to any acts of aggression.
