Ritesh Agarwal, the founder of OYO and the newest addition to the judging panel of 'Shark Tank India,' has likened Bengaluru's iconic dosa joints to the original 'Shark Tanks.'

On a recent occasion, Agarwal shared on X, a photo of himself relishing a 'Benne Dosa' at one of Bengaluru's renowned tiffin centers.

On X, Agarwal expressed that Bengaluru's vibrant cafe culture, breweries, and the esteemed dosa establishments are akin to the original 'Shark Tanks.'

He even expressed his affection for the city, referring himself as a Bengalurian. He posted a picture of his visit to CTR Malleshwaram, one of the city's legendary tiffin centers, enjoying a plate of 'Benne Dosa,' on X and added, 'I consider myself part of Bengaluru. Here I am at CTR Malleshwaram, savoring a plate of Benne Dosa while engaging in startup discussions.'

'Shark Tank India' is the Indian version of the popular American television show 'Shark Tank,' where aspiring entrepreneurs present their business ideas or existing ventures to judges in the hope of securing investment.

Reflecting on his entrepreneurial journey, Agarwal mentioned the initial scarcity of resources. Still, he also highlighted the support and compassion of the ecosystem, including mentors, venture capitalists, and fellow founders, which eased his path and made it more fulfilling.

He expressed his long-standing aspiration to provide similar support to other entrepreneurs, stating, 'Whenever the opportunity arose, it brought me immense joy to connect with, mentor, and financially support entrepreneurs at various stages of their personal journeys.' He shared these thoughts on X.
