Amid growing fears of an Indian military strike, Pakistan has reached out to the United States for diplomatic intervention. According to reports, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to help de-escalate the situation and calm an angry India following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack. Pakistan also asked the US to work with India in promoting peace and stability across South Asia as tensions continue to rise.

Meanwhile, the military standoff between the two neighbors has intensified. Early this morning, the Indian Army deployed battle tanks and Bofors artillery guns along the Punjab border, signaling serious preparation for possible conflict. The deployment adds to the already tense atmosphere at the Line of Control (LOC), where both sides have been bolstering their defenses.

In a strategic move, India has installed high-powered jammers along its western frontier to block navigation systems used by Pakistani fighter jets. These jammers aim to disrupt Pakistan’s access to the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), which relies on Russian and American satellites. This interference would significantly hinder Pakistan's ability to conduct precision air strikes.

As diplomatic outreach continues, the threat of a broader conflict looms with both nations escalating their military posturing.
