Despite appealing for a ceasefire to avoid India's retaliation, Pakistan once again demonstrated its deceptive intentions. Just three hours after the ceasefire was brokered , allegedly with US President Donald Trump's intervention , Pakistan violated it, launching fresh attacks on Indian territory. This not only embarrassed Trump on the global stage but also exposed Pakistan’s insincerity.

Ignoring the ceasefire pact, Pakistani forces opened fire across the Line of Control (LoC) in 11 regions including Udhampur, Akhnoor, Nowshera, Poonch, Rajouri, Mendhar, Jammu, Sunderbani, RS Pura, Arnia, and Kathua. More alarmingly, over 100 Pakistani drones attempted to breach Indian airspace, leading to a blackout across several regions, from Srinagar and Kargil to Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Pathankot. Civilians were instructed to remain indoors due to security concerns.
One of the most severe incidents occurred in Udhampur where Pakistan carried out a heavy shelling attack. Their main target appeared to be the Indian Army's Chinar Corps headquarters in Srinagar. However, India’s Air Defence System thwarted the attempt effectively.
Tragically, a BSF Sub-Inspector named Imtiyaz was killed in Jammu due to the Pakistani attack. Additionally, militants supported by Pakistan attempted an assault on the Nagrota military base. In response, Indian security forces conducted a combing operation to eliminate the intruders.
India, in turn, delivered a strong counter-offensive. The BSF responded with gunfire, and Indian air defences shot down Pakistani drones. Through these decisive actions, India reaffirmed that any provocation will be met with force and that Pakistan's tactics will yield no success.
Pakistan’s pattern, requesting peace only to break it has once again come to light. Like trying to straighten a dog’s tail, expecting Pakistan to act in good faith remains futile.
