In a dramatic turn of events, residents of Panathur in Bengaluru, have expressed outrage over allegations that local authorities detained them inside a school compound during the Chief Minister's (CM) city rounds. According to the residents, the authorities confined them inside the school premises to ensure they could not meet the CM and discuss their problems during his visit. Several vocal community members, who have regularly raised their voices over these issues, reportedly became the target of this action. They believe the authorities aimed to suppress their complaints to avoid embarrassment during the high-profile visit.

Frustrated by this incident, the residents have launched a social media campaign, flooding the platform with questions and demanding answers from both the local authorities and the CM’s office. Although the CM was reportedly open to hearing their concerns, they claim his officials blocked their access, preventing them from addressing the CM directly.

In the wake of the incident, widespread anger has erupted among the residents, and they are now gearing up for a larger protest to voice their displeasure and demand accountability for the actions of the authorities during the CM's visit.
