Six months ago, Parantap Chowdhury, a Bengaluru-based professional, made a bold move by quitting his lucrative position as Assistant Vice President at Square Yards, where he earned Rs 54 lakh annually. The decision came after experiencing severe occupational burnout. Taking time off to recharge, Chowdhury soon became inspired to share his journey and help others facing similar challenges, which led to the creation of his consulting business.

Drawing on his seven years of experience at Square Yards and Byju’s, where he led a 250+ member sales team and trained over 5,000 salespeople, Chowdhury shifted his focus to a digital business model. His consultancy, which teaches individuals and companies how to excel in sales without relying on paid advertisements, quickly gained traction.
Charging Rs 6,000 per hour for his sessions, Chowdhury has already signed multiple clients, reaching a monthly run rate of Rs 1 lakh within a short span. Operating as a solo entrepreneur, he manages all aspects of his business, enjoying high margins and the flexibility of working independently.
Chowdhury’s transition from a corporate career to a consulting business highlights the potential for professionals to leverage their expertise in a new, profitable venture while promoting personal and professional growth, all without costly advertising.
