CCTV footage captured Hasan allegedly kicking and beating the girl after summoning her to the office. Aconcerned citizen flagged the assault on social media, claiming Hasan also touched students inappropriately and misbehaved with them, tagging senior police officials to demand action. The parents, upon learning of the abuse, stormed the madrasa and confronted the accused, physically retaliating against him. Days later, the madrasa management allegedly attempted to hush up the matter by summoning parents to a mosque, urging them not to press charges.
Police arrested Hasan swiftly after parents filed a complaint. They accused the madrasa of operating without a license and sheltering hundreds of children under questionable conditions, while also attempting to suppress the incident. Hasan, who also manages the madrasa’s hostel, is in custody. Authorities have launched an investigation, promising stringent action based on findings. The protest has spotlighted safety concerns at the institution.
