A known dog lover, Gowda owns three dogs of different breeds. One of her pets has been with her family, while a White French Bulldog and a Belgian Malinois were under her care before her legal troubles. During her time in prison, the two dogs reportedly became weak and debilitated due to inadequate care.
Their condition came to the attention of the animal welfare group People for Animals, who promptly alerted the BBMP’s pet welfare department. In response, the dogs were relocated to Darshan’s home, where they received care and attention.
With Gowda’s return, arrangements are being made to bring her pets back to their original home. Their condition will be reassessed, ensuring they receive proper care moving forward.
This incident highlights the importance of consistent care for pets, especially during unforeseen circumstances. Gowda’s decision to reunite with her pets underscores her love for animals, even amid personal challenges.
