Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife Renu Desai opens up on remarriage, reflects on her children’s well-being

Renu Desai, actress and ex-wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, has stirred attention with candid revelations about her personal life. Thirteen years after parting ways with Pawan Kalyan, Renu has spoken for the first time about her thoughts on remarriage and the emotional challenges of being a single parent.

In a recent podcast, Renu admitted she still feels the lingering pain of her past. “I feel I need a life partner. I am considering remarriage, but it’s not happening right now—mainly because of my daughter,” she said, referring to her daughter Aadhya.

Reflecting on her years of single motherhood, Renu said, “If I had remarried earlier, I might not have been able to do justice to my children’s emotional needs. Their well-being has always been my priority.” She added that a decision on remarriage may be considered once her daughter turns 18.

This is the first time Renu has spoken so openly about the personal sacrifices she's made for her children. Her heartfelt words have struck a chord with many.

Pawan Kalyan, a prominent political and film figure, has been married three times. He divorced his first wife Nandini in 2008, married Renu Desai in 2009, and separated from her in 2012. In 2013, he married Russian-born actress Anna Lezhneva.
