Renowned playback singer Kalpana Raghavendra was found unconscious in her apartment in Nizampet, Hyderabad, after reportedly swallowing sleeping pills. She remained locked inside for two days before neighbors alerted authorities.

Kalpana, known for her work in Telugu cinema, has sung over 1,500 songs and collaborated with legendary composers Ilayaraja and A.R. Rahman. The 2010 Malayalam Star Singer Award winner is now undergoing treatment at a hospital, with fans praying for her recovery.
