Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the resilience and courage of participants at designer Manish Malhotra’s special fashion show, Walk For Courage, held by the Indian Minorities Foundation. The event featured cancer survivors and survivors of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks walking the ramp, showcasing their strength and endurance.

Taking to X, PM Modi expressed pride in the participants, commending their inspiring courage and spirit. The show, titled Namo Bharat: Walk for Courage, Walk for Service, Walk for Heritage, was part of the ongoing Sewa Pakhwada, which ran from September 17 (PM Modi’s birthday) to October 2 (Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary).

Several celebrities, including cancer survivors Sonali Bendre and Tahira Kashyap, along with actors Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri, joined the event. The Indian Minorities Foundation described the show as a tribute to service and courage, inspired by PM Modi’s dedication to the nation.
The event honored India’s strength, saluting the bravery of 26/11 survivors and the determination of cancer survivors, while also celebrating the country’s cultural heritage. At the event, actress Sonali Bendre reportedly emphasized bravery, service, and heritage, while Tahira Kashyap praised the government for spreading hope and celebrating India’s enduring spirit.
