Highlighting the impact of the operation, he remarked, "In Pakistan, it was not just the terrorist camps and their air bases that were destroyed, but their nefarious designs and audacity were also defeated." He further added that “Bharat Mata ki Jai is the resolve of every soldier ready to lay down their life for the nation, and the voice of every citizen devoted to its progress.”
Addressing the troops as heroes, the Prime Minister said, "You have created history. Several decades from now, when this chapter of India’s history is discussed, the central heroes will be you and your fellow comrades." He called their actions an inspiration for future generations and said he came early in the morning to pay his respects to the brave warriors.
Modi also invoked India's spiritual and warrior heritage, saying, "India is the land of Gautam Buddha as well as Guru Gobind Singh; our enemies forgot they have challenged India's armed forces." He warned that "Godfathers of terrorism now realise that casting an evil eye on India means their destruction."
Calling the recent mission more than just a military action, he stated, “Operation Sindoor is not just any other operation. It reflects India’s policy, its intentions, and its decisive capabilities.”
