The centerpiece of India’s celebrations was held at Bhogapuram in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined a record-setting mass yoga event. An estimated 3.19 lakh people participated in yoga simultaneously, while over 25,000 students performed 108 minutes of Surya Namaskar, drawing national attention and applause.

The event not only showcased India's deep-rooted yogic heritage but also aimed at setting new global records. Meanwhile, in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, students conducted Jala Yoga in the sacred Shipra River, blending spirituality and physical wellness in a visually captivating display.
Yoga Day fervor wasn’t confined to India. In Colombia’s Neiva, yoga enthusiasts and local communities celebrated with sessions of pranayama, group singing, and dance, symbolizing global acceptance and adaptation of this ancient Indian practice.
