The devastating incident claimed 241 lives, leaving only one survivor, and has left the nation in shock. The crash occurred shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad’s airport, with the aircraft plummeting into a residential area near a medical college, causing significant damage to nearby structures.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also visited the site yesterday to oversee initial response efforts. The crash, involving Air India flight AI-171 carrying 242 passengers, including 169 Indians and 53 British nationals, has prompted calls for a thorough investigation into its cause. The nation mourns as authorities work to support the victims’ families and investigate the circumstances of this catastrophic event.
