PM Modi to Inaugurate Chenab Rail Bridge
One of the major highlights is the inauguration of the iconic Chenab Bridge, the world’s highest railway arch bridge. Soaring 359 meters above the Chenab River, the 1,315-meter-long steel structure is hailed as an engineering marvel and a symbol of Indian innovation in rail infrastructure.

Vande Bharat Journey from Katra to Srinagar in 3 Hours
The Prime Minister will also flag off Vande Bharat Express trains between Katra and Srinagar, slashing travel time to just three hours. This will greatly ease rail travel across Jammu and Kashmir and integrate the region more closely with the rest of the country.

Another milestone is the inauguration of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project. Spanning 272 km with 36 tunnels and 943 bridges, the ₹43,780 crore project ensures all-weather rail access to Kashmir.

Improvement of Border Roads
Several road development projects focused on enhancing border and last-mile connectivity will be launched during the visit.

Medical College: Health Services Boost in Katra
PM Modi will lay the foundation for the ₹350 crore Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence in Katra. This will be Reasi district's first medical college, expected to significantly strengthen local healthcare infrastructure.
