Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, is hosting the grand Mahakumbh at the Triveni Sangam, attracting devotees from across the globe. The sacred event is set to witness the visit of several high-profile dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will take a holy dip on February 5.

During his visit, PM Modi is expected to review key government projects and participate in various programs. The Mahakumbh is also on the agenda for the Uttar Pradesh cabinet meeting scheduled for January 22. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will join the festivities on January 27, while Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is slated to visit Triveni Sangam on February 1. President Droupadi Murmu is expected to arrive on February 10.
With the influx of dignitaries, the Uttar Pradesh Police has strengthened security measures. Special teams have been deployed, and key areas are under constant surveillance. The Mahakumbh remains a spiritual and logistical centerpiece, drawing millions of devotees and notable leaders alike to Prayagraj’s iconic Sangam.
