  • Google Maps Timeline of the suspects will play a crucial role
  • Suspects Deepak and Sandeesh have had their movements tracked
  • Suspects were paraded at the Parappana Agrahara prison

Reports indicate that the Police is likely to present a very strong case against the 17 suspects involved in the murder of Renukaswamy including Sandalwood actor Darshan also referred to as the Challenging Star. Along with physical evidence and eyewitness testimony, the police are also gathering technical evidence that links the suspects to the case.

The Google Maps Timeline of the suspects will play a crucial role in this regard. It is believed that this data places the suspects in the places that are relevant to the timeline of the crime that was committed. Suspects Deepak and Sandeesh are believed to have had their movements tracked with this technology. The police are attempting to retrieve similar data from the other suspects.

The suspects were paraded at the Parappana Agrahara prison and the Tumakuru jail for the purposes of identification. They were placed among other inmates after which the witnesses were asked to identify them. The witnesses are said to have correctly identified the suspects. With the police leaving no stone unturned in collecting evidence, the prospects for Darshan and his gang do not appear to be very bright at the moment. They would however still be on the lookout for legal remedies available to them.
